Placed 106th with a time of 28:00.7 at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 25).
Ran an 8K personal-best time of 27:07.1 at the Highlander Invitational for 199th place.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Competed in four races for the Cougars.
Finished the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 19) with a personal-best 8k time of 27:39.4, finishing 163rd.
Clocked a time of 27:59.9 at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 13), taking the 46th slot.

HIGH SCHOOL

2019 graduate of Escondido High School in Escondido, California.
Ran for coach Mark Vavra.
Earned All-Valley League honors in 2017 and 2018 for cross country while being named Most Outstanding Player in 2018, Most Improved Player in 2017 and was a San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team selection in 2017 and 2018.
Helped his cross country team take second in the league in 2017 and 2018.
Took second and fourth in the 800-meter run in the Valley League in 2018 and 2019, respectively, while earning San Diego Union-Tribune honors in 2017 and 2018.
Earned the Rotary Scholarship, the CTA Dependents Scholarship while attending the Youth Citizenship Seminar at Pepperdine and Camp LEAD sponsored by the San Diego Sheriff's Department in 2018.
Earned Cougar Awards of Academic Excellence for Honors Math and Chemistry in 2017 and World Languages in 2018.
Also played soccer.
Member of M.E.Ch.A, Young Democrats, the California Scholarship Federation, the National Honor Society, Robotics, Science Club, the Marching Band, the Concert Band, the Mariachi Band and Show Choir.
