AS A FRESHMAN IN 2022 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in three meets.
  • Took fifth in the javelin at the CCAA Track & Field Championships (May 5-7) with a distance of 49.31 meters.
  • Had a season-best javelin throw of 50.18 meters at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational (Mar 19).

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2021 DURING BASEBALL
  • Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020 AT MT. SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE (BASEBALL)

  • Played for coaches John Knott and Samuel Lopez.
  • Earned All-Palomares League second-team honors in 2017.
  • In 55 games at Bonita, he hit .294 with a .348 on-base percentage while collecting 42 hits with 27 RBIs and 18 runs.
  • Earned the Kirk B. Johnson Scholarship for demonstrating a true love of the game and superior sportsmanship.
  • Also played football as a freshman.

  • Played for the GBG Renegades (2013-14) and the Colton Nighthawks (2016-17).

PERSONAL
  • Born and raised in San Dimas, California.
  • Son of Kenneth and Janet Garcia.
  • Has two older brothers, Kyle and Andrew.
  • Brother Andrew played for Cal State San Marcos in 2019 and 2020.
  • Relative Jerry Wolak played in the Chicago White Sox organization from 1988 to 1995 and played in AAA his final two seasons.
  • Wants to be an elementary teacher and possibly get into coaching.
  • Enjoys watching sports, going to the beach, jogging and playing video games.
  • His greatest influence is his grandfather.
  • Favorite movies are Stepbrothers, Ted and Home Alone.
  • Roots for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Rams and Lakers.
  • Favorite athletes are Mike Trout, Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady.
  • Most memorable moment is winning his Little League championship with his brother and dad as coach.
  • Wants to visit all 30 MLB stadiums.
  • Majoring in Liberal Studies.
