Ran an 8K personal-best time of 25:47.5 for 30th place at the CCAA Cross Country Championships (Oct. 23).
Placed 144th at the NCAA West Regional with a 10K time of 37:34.4.

2019 Riverside City Championship track winner in the 1600m.
Led team to two cross country Division I CIF Finals Qualifiers and three Prelims Qualifiers.
Was a four-year member of the Associated student Body (ASB) organization.

Born and raised in Riverside, California.
Son of Mario and Rosanna Machuca.
Has three brothers: Mario, Mayson and Maverick.
Enjoys playing video games and videography.
Favorite movies are “Saw”, "The Dark Knight" and "McFarland USA".
Roots for the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Huntsmen, Chelsea F.C., Golden State Warriors and Optic Chicago.
Favorite athletes are George Kittle and Steph Curry.
Greatest influence is his parents.
Favorite food is cheeseburgers.
Most memorable moment in cross country was winning the Clovis Invitational Frosh Soph race and in track was winning the Azusa Pacific Meet of Champions 1600m.
Likes most about CSUSM is the team atmosphere. Shows up to practice everyday knowing that he is a part of something bigger than himself.
Best friend is his husky, Roxy.
Majoring in Kinesiology.
Intends to either get his Master's Degree in Athletic Training or become a firefighter.
