Cal State San Marcos Athletics' Official Student Spirit Group

The BLU CRU is a student-founded spirit group that has been on campus for several years. BLU CRU members are best known for attending CSUSM athletic events decked out in Cougar blue and cheering loud and proud for their teams. They also help support various spirit initiatives and traditions on campus, including pep rallies, Cougar Blue Thursdays, and Homecoming. One of the goals of BLU CRU is to help all CSUSM students to show their Cougar pride and their “P.A.W.S.” (Positive Attitude and Winning Spirit), which means we take pride in our school, and we support our teams in a positive way that represents the spirit of CSUSM.
