  • Broke the school record in the indoor 600-meter run with a time of 1:37.30 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 14).
  • Helped run the fourth-fastest indoor 4x400-meter relay in school history at 4:02.20 at the UW Invitational (Jan. 31 - Feb. 1).
  • Also helped post the 10th-fastest indoor 4x400 in program history with a time of 4:14.81 at the UW Preview (Jan. 18).
  • Part of the team that ran the third-fastest indoor DMR in program history at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 15) with a time of 12:10.70.
  • Helped run the 10th-fastest outdoor DMR in program history at the Mangrum Preview (Feb. 8) with a time of 12:52.19.
  • Ran season-best times of 1:00.00 and 2:29.02 at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge (March 7).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Competed in six races.
  • Placed 42nd at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 13) with a 6K personal-best time of 23:08.2
  • Took 75th in her collegiate debut at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 7) with a 5K time of 19:46.9.
  • Ran a time of 23:55.6 at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 26) to place 51st.
  • Placed 131st at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships (Nov. 9) with a time of 23:13.3.

HIGH SCHOOL
  • 2019 graduate of Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California.
  • Ran under coaches Francine Koopman, Ruben Ledezma and David Koopman.
  • Earned All-Mesa League first team honor for cross country in 2018 while finishing third at the league meet and 14th at the CIF Division 1 meet.
  • Named the league MVP for track & field in 2019 while earning the league championship in the high jump, 4x100 and 4x400.
  • Finished second in the 400 at the league championships in 2019.
  • Earned third in the 400 at the CIF Division 1 Championships while earning second in the 4x400 in 2019.
  • Took fourth in the 400 in the at the CIF Division 1 Championships in 2018.
  • Earned a High School Honors Diploma, a Golden State Honors Merit Seal, a Bilteracy Seal and was a member of the Principal's Honor Roll.
  • Helped break the school record in the 4x400 during her senior season.
  • Helped her teams win the 2018 league championship in cross country and the 2018 and 2019 league championships in track & field.

  • Favorite athlete is Allison Felix.
  • Favorite foods are sushi and seafood.
  • Her greatest influence is her sister.
  • She has to eat the same breakfast, do the same warmup, wear the same jacket and pants to warmup and wear the same headband for every meet.
  • Most memorable moment is running the 400 during her first year of track as a junior in high school and surprising herself with what she could do.
  • On the CSUSM cross country/track & field teams with her twin sister, Luz.
  • Gives back to the community by volunteering for the Red Cross during events/blood drives.
  • Likes most about CSUSM is taht the athletic department is very united, and even though you are part of a specific team, you can also talk to the people from other etams because everyone is really friendly. 
  • Majoring in Business Administration - Finance.
