AS A SENIOR IN 2024-25 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in four outdoor meets.
  • Ran her fastest 1500-meter time of the season at 4:53.31 at the ULV Leopard Invitational (April 17-18).
  • Posted her fastest 5000-meter time of the year at the Triton Invitational (April 4-5), finishing in 18:20.68.

AS A SENIOR IN 2024 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Competed in six races. 
  • Ran a 6K PR time of 22:14.4 at the UCR Invitational (Sept. 21) for 168th place. 
  • Placed 22nd at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 28) with a 6K time of 22:20.8. 
  • Took 39th place at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 25) with a 6K time of 23:16.9. 
  • Collected a 61st place finish at the NCAA Division II West Regionals with a 3.74M time of 22:31.0. 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2023-24 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in four outdoor meets.
  • Recorded the fourth-best outdoor mile time in program history at 5:13.89 at the Steve Scott Invitational (April 26-27).
  • Had a season-best 1500-meter time of 4:55.53 at the CCAA Championships (May 2-4).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2023 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Competed in six races. 
  • Ran a 5K PR time of 19:07.3 at the 42nd Annual UCR Invitational (Sept. 16) for 52nd place. 
  • Placed 78th with a 6K time of 25:32.0 at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 21). 
  • Took 85th place at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 4) with a time of 23:21.8. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022-23 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in four meets.
  • Ran her fastest 5,000-meter time of 18:16.45 at the Ben Brown Invite (March 10-11).
  • Had a season-best 1500-meter time of 4:50.57 at the Beach Opener (March 3-4).
  • Ran a season-best 10,000-meter time of 38.31.80 at the Mangrum Invitational (March 24).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Did not compete in any races. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021-22 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in four indoor meets and eight outdoor meets.
  • Ran the third-fastest indoor 5K in program history with a time of 19:12.58 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 11).
  • Indoor mile time of 5:19.31 at the BU Last Chance was the sixth fastest in program history (Feb. 27).
  • Recorded the ninth-fastest indoor 3000-meter time in team history at the Fastrack Last Chance (Feb. 25) with a time of 10:45.42.
  • Posted an indoor 800-meter time of 2:26.41 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 12).
  • Ran a season-best outdoor 1500-meter time of 4:48.73 at the PLNU Invitational (March 26).
  • Recorded her fastest outdoor 800-meter time of 2:21.04 at the Triton Invitational (April 8-9).
  • Ran her best outdoor 5K of 18:20.80 at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 13-15).
  • Recorded her lone 10K time of the year at the CCAA Track & Field Championships as she finished in 38:14.67.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Competed in five races. 
  • Made her collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 4) for 27th place with a 5K time of 21:15.8.
  • Ran a 5K personal-best time of 20:52.4 at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 10) for 69th place. 
  • Turned in a 6K PR time of 22:34.7 for 38th place at the CCAA Cross Country Championships (Oct. 23). 

HIGH SCHOOL
  • A 2021 graduate of Channel Islands High School in Oxnard. 
  • Two-time Track & Field Best Distance selection (2018, 2019). 
  • Two-time Team MVP in Cross Country (2019, 2021). 
  • 2021 Female Athlete of the Year. 
  • Led team to Pacific View League Cross Country Championship in 2021. 
  • Member of the League of United Latin American Citizen (LULAC) organization.
  • Was also a member of the Big Brother, Big Sister Club, Upward Bound Club and UBCI Stem Club. 

PERSONAL
  • Born and raised in Oxnard, California. 
  • Daughter of Vicente Texis and Patricia Corona. 
  • Has three siblings - Vicente, Belem and Uriel. 
  • Enjoys skating, dancing and training with her high school friends. 
  • Loves playing soccer. 
  • Favorite movie is "Tangled".
  • Greatest influence is her dad. 
  • Favorite athlete is Guillermo Ochoa. 
  • Roots for the USWNT and Chivas de Guadalajara. 
  • Favorite foods are tacos al pastor, pozole, maruchan and pizza. 
  • Has a superstition of wearing a headband and her quinceanera necklace. 
  • Favorite CSUSM moments have been to travel and make great memories with teammates, coaches and classmates. 
  • Favorite moment was when she almost passed out after her first 5k race, but felt like it was worth it because she won a medal with a time of 20:30 (felt it was a tough race). 
  • Very passionate about goalkeeping - believes it isa tough position and learned to give it her all in a game. 
  • Favorite CSUSM moments were meeting her teammates and building great relationships. 
  • Likes most about CSUSM is how it is a small campus but very active. 
  • Majoring in Kinesiology. 
  • Intends move back home with her family, work and enroll in a master's program for health.
