Improved 8k time at the Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 3) clocking in at 27:00.1 resulting in a 39th place finish.
Recorded a season-best 8k time of 26:34.5 at UCR Invitational (Sept. 17) for 71st place.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2022 DURING TRACK & FIELD

Competed in seven meets.
Ran a season-best 5K time of 15:47.80 at the Triton Invitational (April 8-9).
Posted a season-best 3000-meter time of 9:19.24 at the OIDFE Challenge (Jan. 29).
Posted a time of 4:15.97 in his only 1500-meter race of the season at the RCC Invitational (March 4).
Recorded a time of 1:59.75 in his lone 800-meter race of the year at the Steve Scott Invitational (April 29-30).

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2021 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Competed in five races.
Made collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 4), placing 85th with an 8K time of 27:22.8.
Ran an 8K personal-best time of 26:24.6 at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 23) for 53rd place.

PERSONAL

Born in Kigoma, Tanzania, and grew up in Fizi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Son of Mloko Kweli and Zaina Malenga.
Has seven siblings: Charlotte Omari, Sifa Mloko, Masoka Yekebeli, Maua Mloko, Uwezo Mloko, Alembe Mloko and Amina Mloko.
Brother, Alembe, is also on the cross country team.
Favorite movie is Akeelah and the Bee (French version).
Favorite athlete is Kevin Durant, because he has a heart of a lion.
Favorite food is Fufu, known as Ugali which is an East Africa dish.
Qualifying in San Diego CIF Track & Field Final with an injury and fortunately beating his personal record.
Would like to give back to his community by volunteer coaching with his high school coach.
Enjoys playing guitar and Cajon (drum set).
Plans on majoring in Business Management.
