AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2023 DURING TRACK & FIELD

Ran a PR of 2:27.25 in the 800-meter run at the Triton Invitational (April 7-8).
Had a season-best 400-meter dash time of 1:02.27 at the Mangrum Invitational (March 24).

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2022 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Competed in one race.
Ran at Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 3) but did not finish.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2022 DURING TRACK & FIELD

Competed in nine meets.
Ran her fastest 200- and 800-meter times of the season at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational (March 19) with times of 27.82 and 2:37.16, respectively.
Her 400-meter time of 1:01.81 at the Chris Rinne Twilight (April 22) was a season best.

Helped win the Mesa League Championship in the 4x400 and broke the school record for the event.
Took second in San Diego County in the 4x400 in 2019.
Also competed with CTG.

Grandfather Allen Payne ran track at LSU.
Enjoys shopping, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Favorite athletes are Sydney McLaughlin and Allyson Felix.
Favorite food is Asian food.
Her parents are her greatest influence.
Must listen to music before her races.
Most memorable moments are competing at state in the 4x400 and meeting her best friends through track & field.
Favorite thing about CSUSM is the friends she has made through track & field.
Majoring in Liberal Border Studies.
Intends to pursue a career in elementary education after graduation.
