Competed in three races.
Finished 50th at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 13) with a time of 28:20.3.
Clocked an 8k personal-best time of 27:56.0 at the Capital Cross Challenge (Sept. 28), finishing 175th.

HIGH SCHOOL

2019 graduate of West Hills High School in Santee, California.
Ran for coach Juan Naranjo.
Earned two varsity letters in both cross country and track.
Earned San Diego Union-Tribune honors four times and was on the Honor Roll every semester of high school.
Best 1600-meter run mark was 4:29.97 at the Grossmont League Finals.
Best three-mile mark for cross country was 16:10.
Helped his cross country team qualify for state in 2018.
Played soccer his freshman and sophomore seasons.
Is the former vice president of the running club.

PERSONAL

Hometown is San Diego, California.
Son of Ellen and Rhett Edwards.
Has one older sister, Ashley, and one younger sister, Allison.
Wants to be a clinical psychologist, counseling psychologist or sports psychologist after graduating.
His main passion consists of having fun with his teammates and experiencing a sense of pride and accomplishment when he meets the time goals he sets for himself in season.
Favorite athlete is Louis Zamperini.
Favorite food is a California burrito.
His greatest influences are his grandfather and best friend.
Roots for whichever teams his competing for.
Most memorable moment is breaking a 4:30 mile.
Gives back to the community by helping people who have mental ailments overcome them and live happily.
