COURSE REPORT:  The RV Cal State San Marcos men's golf team took sixth at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational on Tuesday after firing a three-round total of 2-over 866.
 
FIRST TEE

• After recording a double bogey on his second hole of the day, Jason McElroy tallied three birdies and an eagle on the 13th hole with pars the remaining holes to finish with a 9-under 207 and tied for third.
• Gavin McCormick moved up 22 spots for a share of 28th place with a 3-over 219.
• Patrick Jaksch carded a 4-over 220 to tie for 32nd place.
• Arman Rahgozar tied for 52nd place with an 8-over 224 while Greg Mouser tied for 58th with a 10-over 226.

• CSUSM tied for second in Par 5 scoring (4.53, -28) while Jason McElroy leading the way (4.25, -9).  
• Cal State Monterey Bay recorded a tournament-high five eagles in the three rounds with Liam Allder leading the way with three.
• CSUSM won the team title by jumping two spots to finish with an 18-under 846 (277-285-284).
• Chico State's Tyler Ashman won the playoff over CSUMB's Simon Bjorken after both finished with an 11-under 205.
