SAN MARCOS, Calif. –
Gavin McCormick and
Liam Weaver represented Cal State San Marcos on the All-CCAA Men's Golf teams for the 2025-26 season.
McCormick was named to the All-CCAA first team while Weaver was named an honorable mention.
This season, McCormick led the team with a 73.0 scoring average in 23 rounds. The junior from Thousand Oaks was crowned the 2026 CCAA Tournament individual medalist, his first collegiate tournament victory. His other top-five finish came at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational as he tied for fourth with a 1-under 215. This is McCormick's first All-CCAA honor.
Weaver had CSUSM's second-best scoring average for the year at 73.3. The redshirt freshman from Cornado had one win on the ledger this season, carding a 10-under 206 at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational. His other top-five finish came at the CCAA Tournament as he shot an even-par 216 to tie for fifth place. Weaver was CSUSM's lone CCAA Golfer of the Week honoree this season.
This is the fourth time in program history that two or more Cougars have been awarded All-CCAA honors.
The Cougars earned a bid to the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional and will be the No. 8 seed in Stockton at The Reserve at Spanos Park on May 7-9.
