COURSE REPORT: The No. 10/8 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team captured its fourth consecutive CCAA Championship title with
Caroline Wales claiming individual medalist honors on Wednesday at Victoria Club in Riverside. CSUSM concluded the three-round tournament with a 37-over 901 (303-298-300).
FIRST TEE
- Wales posted the lowest score of the round for the second consecutive day to finish with a 2-over 218 (74-72-72).
- Breann Horn placed fourth after carding a 3-over 75 to finish with an 8-over 224 (76-73-75).
- After a disastrous start with four bogeys and a double bogey on the first five holes, Madison Murr rebounded with 2-under par in the final 13 holes to finish the three day tournament with a 13-over 229 (76-77-76) for a share of eighth place.
- Makenna Cabardo busted into the top 10 after finishing with a 16-over 232 (79-76-77) for 10th place.
- Kaila Higgins tied for 13th place with a 19-over 232 (77-80-78).

INSIDE THE SCORECARD

- Wales brought home CSUSM's third CCAA women's golf individual medalist honor as Jaime Jacob was crowned the 2018 and 2019 CCAA Champion.
