COURSE REPORT:
The No. 14 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team finished third at the Patriot Invitational, posting a 54-hole total of 45-over 897 (290-311-296) on Tuesday after three rounds at Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club  in Carmel. Avery Foster led the Cougars with a top-five finish an 8-over 221.

FIRST TEE
  • Avery Foster placed fifth at 8-over 221 (71-79-71), highlighted by one eagle and five birdies across the three rounds.
  • Abby Sickles tied for ninth at 11-over 224 (70-78-76) and paced the entire field in pars with 40 while adding three birdies.
  • Kiara Hernandez tied for 12th at 12-over 225 (75-77-73) and co-led CSUSM with seven birdies.
  • Ellaclair Leedom tied for 26th at 18-over 231 (74-77-80) with four birdies.
  • Carmella Carlisi tied for 31st at 19-over 232 (75-81-76) with four birdies and steady par-3 play.
