RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team saw four top-10 program marks as it took third at the RCC Invitational on Friday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- With a winning time of 3:52.66, Nick Melanese recorded the 10th-fastest 1500-meter time in program history. Teammate Trevor Boaz placed third at 3:55.28.
- Justice Chima recorded the ninth-fastest 200-meter dash time in program history with a third-place time of 22.14.
- With a third-place time of 11.02 in the 100-meter dash, Chima barely missed out on recording a top-10 program time by .02.
- Kibrom Elias posted a 3,000-meter run time of 8:38.65 – eighth fastest in program history.
- Trevor Nakata took second in the hammer throw at 40.57 meters. Teammate Nick Tangonan placed third at 39.35 meters and improved his PR by 1.75 meters with the 10th-best throw in program history.
- Kalathan Laiwa-McKay earned second in the discus with a mark of 41.95 meters.
- Alex Anderson placed third in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:03.82.
- Isaac Muanza was second in the triple jump at 14.04 meters and was third in the long jump at 6.33 meters.
