CSUSM Records Eight Top-10 Marks, Two NCAA Provisionals Over Two Meets

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's outdoor track & field team recorded eight top-10 program marks and two NCAA provisionals at the Mangrum Invitational and UCLA's Jim Bush Legends Meet on Friday and Saturday.
 
MANGRUM INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • The Cougars started the day with a win in the 4x100-meter relay as the team of Isaac Brooks, Jason Wells, Adam Moe and Solomon German posted the second-fastest time in team history with an NCAA provisional of 40.66 seconds.
  • In the 4x400-meter relay, the team of Brooks, Wells, Logan Wilson and Moe ran the third-fastest time in program history with an NCAA provisional time of 3:12.57 – the fastest CSUSM time since 2013.
  • Jason Wells and Logan Wilson rank the fifth- and sixth-fastest 400-meter times in team history at 48.39 and 48.50, respectively.
  • Kevin Meumann ran the sixth-fastest 110-meter hurdles time in program history at 15.02 seconds, finishing second out of 17.
  • KeSean Goodson posted the seventh-best triple jump mark in team history at 14.02 meters.
  • In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Jacob Perez ran the eighth-fastest time in program history at 9:31.67.
 
JIM BUSH LEGENDS INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Kevin Meumann improved his 110-meter hurdles time to 14.90 seconds – the sixth-fastest time in program history.
 
UP NEXT
CSUSM will head to the Bay Area next weekend as it competes at the Stanford Invitational and San Francisco State's Mike Fanelli Track Classic on Friday and Saturday.
