COURSE REPORT:Â The No. 20 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a runner-up finish at the Sonoma State Invitational. Three Cougars,
Makenna Cabardo,
Diana Delgado and
Madison Murr, finished in the top 10.
FIRST TEE
- Makenna Cabardo ended both rounds with a birdie with Tuesday's coming on hole one. She moved up eight spots to tie for sixth place after carding back-to-back rounds of 77 for a 154 (+10).
- Diana Delgado jumped three spots to finish even with Cabardo with a 10-over 154 (76-78).
- Madison Murr also moved up the leaderboard to finish in a five-way tie for 10th place after carding a two-day tournament total of 155 (78-77).
- Stephanie Heimler struggled on the back nine, concluding the tournament with a 161 (75-86) and tied for 29th.
- Lauren Hickam tied for 38th after carding 164 (81-83).
- Playing as an individual, Regan Barton placed 65th with a 173 (88-85). Â
