COURSE REPORT: Sophomore Claire Hogle, freshman Breann Horn and junior Jaime Jacob all finished in the top 10 to lead the No. 13 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team to its fourth consecutive team title after finishing first at Cal State East Bay's Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on Tuesday afternoon.
 
FIRST TEE

• Hogle finished tied for third after carding a 76 in the second round to turn in a 2-over 146.  
• Horn placed fifth after scoring a 77 on Tuesday for a 4-over 148.
• Jacob moved up nine spots to finish ninth with a 7-over 151.
• Junior Savannah Magallon also moved up the leaderboard to finish tied for 18th with a 10-over 154.
• Senior Bergen Benedict and junior Sarah Garcia, playing as an individual, both tied for 23rd with an 11-over 155.

• CSUSM finished the event as the leader in the field for Par 5 (-10, 4.75 avg) and second in Par 4 (+28, 4.28) scoring.
• CSUSM was second in birdies with 20 (Sonoma State with 22) and was led by Hogle's seven birdies.
• CSUSM notched 108 pars with Horn collecting a tournament-leading 25.
• Sonoma State's Megan Daleo shot a 72 in the final round to finish at 2-under 142 to capture the individual medalist honors.

The Cougars will host the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational at Shadowridge Golf Course on March 11-12. Joining the 13th-ranked Cougars are seven of the nation's top 15 teams including No. 1 Dallas Baptist.
