  • Team MVP in 2013 and 2014 and team captain in 2014
  • Helped the Bulldogs to four league championships, extending the school’s streak to 11 consecutive CCC titles
  • Won the sectional championship in 2014
  • Took third in The Masters
  • Led the team to its first appearance in the Northern California State Championship
  • Also played varsity softball and JV basketball
  • All-League second team selection in softball (2014)
  • Served as an AP Spanish tutor and a translator in a variety of capacities

  • Daughter of Jennifer and John Garcia
  • Has two brothers, Jacob and Alex
  • Comes from a family of collegiate athletes
  • Her father was a wrester at Colorado Northwestern College, her uncle Mike a wrestler at University of Southern Colorado, her aunt Susan a water polo player at Pomona College and her cousin Daniel a cross country runner at Pacific
  • Majoring in Criminology and Justice Studies with a minor in Spanish 
  • Loves the location and friendly environment most about CSUSM
  • Also enjoys baseball and snowboarding
  • Roots for the Philadelphia Phillies
  • Favorite athletes are Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Michelle Wie, Stacey Lewis, Lexi Thompson and Chase Utley
  • Aspires to be a LPGA golfer, physical therapist and/or a golf coach
  • Most memorable golf moment is when her high school team took third place in The Masters and advanced as a team to the Northern California State Championship for the first time in school history
