CHICO, Calif. – After tying for third at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational,
Jaime Jacob collected her third CCAA Golfer of the Week honor alongside Sonoma State's Megan DaLeo for March 6-12. It is the third award of the season for Jacob.
Jacob fired off scores of 73-72 to finish 1-over 145 at the tournament which featured nine of the nation's top 25 teams. Currently ranked No. 6 individually in the latest Golfstat rankings, Jacob rolled a tournament-best eight birdies in her two rounds of play.
Jacob, a junior from Encinitas, helped the Cougars to a third-place team finish behind newly-ranked No. 1 Barry and No. 2 Dallas Baptist.
