• Junior Savannah Magallon was CSUSM's top golfer after the opening round, turning in a even-par 72 and is tied for fourth with Roger State's Jess Whitting and Sofia Garcia Ausstt of Nova Southeastern.
• Junior Jaime Jacob is in a seven-way tie for seventh place after carding a 1-over 73.
• Sophomore Claire Hogle follows with a 74 and is tied for 13th. 
• Junior Emily Lichty and freshman Breann Horn along with two individual golfers, seniors Sarah Garcia and Joan Park, are tied for 36th after carding a 6-over 78.
• Senior Bergen Benedict shot a 7-over 79 and is tied for 49th.
