SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team hosts its final match of the 2015 season on Saturday at The Cougar Den against visiting Embry-Riddle (Fla.). Eight Cougar seniors will be honored for their service to the program prior to the contest.

In The CCAAThe Cougars finished tied for ninth place in the CCAA standings with 13 points and a 4-7-1 mark in conference play. CSUSM, originally picked to finish in last in the conference in the preseason poll, beat Stanislaus State and tied Cal Poly Pomona, two teams that made the CCAA postseason tournament. The Cougars finished in the conference's top-five in goals (16) and shot percentage (.118).
ERAU PreviewAll-time vs. ERAU: Saturday will be the first-ever meeting between the squads.
ERAU Breakdown: The Eagles have dropped six consecutive matches dating back to October 14. They're last victory came on October 7, 1-0, over Florida Tech. ERAU has scored more than one goal in just two matches this season.

Ron Pulvers is in his 20
th season as a men's collegiate head coach and 10
th in charge of CSUSM. Pulvers, who started the CSUSM program from the ground up in 2006, holds a 221-129-29 (.621) career coaching record, including a 95-58-15 (.610) mark at CSUSM.
New TerritoryAfter nine seasons of competition in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the Cougars enter their first season of NCAA Division II competition in 2015. CSUSM is currently in the second year of a three-year transition to full NCAA Division II membership. As a part of the transition, the Cougars will be ineligible for postseason play in 2015 and 2016.
