HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute as a corner kick from the left side by Cole Lomeli found the foot of Logan Race on the right side of the box, who put a shot into the right side of the goal.
- Just a little over two minutes later in the 29th minute, Adrian Rivera intercepted a ball from a Westmont defender outside of the box before sending a pass to David Ruiz at the top of the box, who put the ball into the left side of the goal to knot the game at 1-all.
- After a CSUSM yellow card that turned into a red, a free kick outside the left corner of the box by Lomeli found the bottom right corner of the goal to give Westmont a 2-1 lead in the 69th minute.
- Ten minutes later in the 79th minute, CSUSM scored the equalizer again. From the right corner, Blake Haseyama dribbled into the box and took a shot that went off the foot of Andrew Valencia and into the left corner of the goal to make it a 2-2 game.
