AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2021 DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Competed in four races.
Made her collegiate debut at the Mark Covert Classic (Sept. 4), finishing 29th with a 5K time of 21:22.9.
Ran a 5K personal-best time of 20:25.7 at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 10) to place 59th.
Turned in a 6K time of 23:31.9 at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 25) for 68th place.
Placed 147th at the Highlander Invitational (Oct. 16) in a time of 23:46.1 (6K).

Born in Santa Monica, California.
Daughter of Gerrick and Leilani Gonzales.
Enjoys hiking, trying new foods, going to the beach, exploring new places and painting/drawing.
Favorite food is sushi.
Has the same breakfast before every meet, a peanut butter bagel (or toast) with bananas on top.
Most memorable moment while competing in cross country was qualifying and competing at the state meet with her team in 2019.
Plans on majoring in Biotechnology.
