Competed in seven races for CSUSM.
Ran a personal-best 8k time of 24:42.7 at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 13), placing ninth.
Placed 27th at the CCAA Cross Country Championship (Oct. 26) with a time of 26:02.0.
Registered a personal-best 10k time of 31:12.7 (46th) at the NCAA Division II West Region Cross Country Championship (Nov. 9).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2018 AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE DURING TRACK & FIELD

Ran a PR and school record time of 30:54.97 in the 10,000-meter run at the Oxy Distance Carnival and finished first.
Finished sixth at the CCCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 31:47.45.
Won with a 3000-meter PR of 8:49.30 at the South Coast Conference Season Opener.
Took 13th in the 1500-meter run at the Aztec Open with a PR of 4:05.61.
Won both the 5k and 10k at the PCAC Championships – the first 10k track title in program history.
Earned All-PCAC honors and All-State honors.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017 AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Took third at the Palomar Invitational with a four-mile PR of 21:04.2 – fifth-fastest in program history.
Finished fourth at the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference XC Championships with a four-mile time of 21:21.9.
Placed fourth in the CSUSM Cougar Challenge with an 8k PR of 26:00.7.
Earned All-PCAC honors.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2017 AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE DURING TRACK & FIELD

Posted a time of 15:33.30 in the 5,000-meter run at the Occidental Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic.
Placed fourth in the 5,000-meter run at the Pacific Coast Conference Prelims and Championships.
Took 14th at the CCCAA Southern California Regional Prelims and Championships with a time of 15:41.64.
Had a season record of 32:23.35 in the 10,000-meter run at CCCAA Southern California Regional Prelims and Championships while finishing 10th.
Earned All-PCAC honors.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016 AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE DURING CROSS COUNTRY

Ran a season-best four-mile time of 21:43.7 at the California Community College State Cross Country Championships.

Son of Robert Marin and Arely Haros.
Has two younger sisters, Lisette and Sophia.
Wants to become a paralegal and become an immigration lawyer at his own law firm after graduation.
Enjoys playing basketball, watching baseball and basketball, volunteering at the ACLU, traveling to Florida and drawing sports figures.
His greatest influence is Eluid Kipchoge.
Favorite movies are McFarland, USA and Sicario.
Roots for the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Favorite athletes are Eluid Kipchoge, Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter and Tom Brady.
Most memorable moment is winning the 10k at the Oxy Distance Carnival in 2018, breaking the 10k school record and becoming the first Cuyamaca athlete to win the 10k in program history.
Likes to fish.
