AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020

Lone event of the season was the javelin throw at the Mangrum Preview (Feb. 8).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019

Had a season-best time of 29.32 in the 200-meter dash at the RCC Invitational (March 1).
Posted a season-best time of 16.81 in the 100-meter hurdles at the California Collegiate Open (March 30).
Long jump mark of 4.07 meters at the California Collegiate Open was a season best.
Posted her best javelin throw mark of the season with a distance of 24.07 meters at the Triton Invitational (April 12-13).

HIGH SCHOOL

2018 graduate of Capo Valley High School.
Competed under coaches Connor Higgins and Ken Sayles.
Named the 2018 Track Athlete of the Year.
Earned the 2017 Track Coaches Award.
Took the 2016 Track Most Improved Award.
Was a three-time CIF Track participant.
Posted the second-fastest 100-meter hurdles time in school history at 15.5.
Tallied the third-fastest 300-meter hurdles time in school history at 48.08.
Helped post the second-fast distance medley relay time in school history at 12:27.78.
Helped her team post the seventh-fastest 4x400 relay time in school history at 4:08.00.
Team was runner up in the Sea View League in 2017-18 and a 2016 Arcadia Invitational Participant.
Cross country team earned the Sea View League Championship from 2016 to 2018.
In 2015, earned her cross country team's Most Improved Award while earning a CIF State Finalist spot.
Earned cross country's Captain's Award in 2017.
Was a Scholar-Athlete recipient and a member of the Principal's Honor Roll.

PERSONAL

Born is Mission Viejo, California.
Daughter of Joe and Marci Vahey.
Has one younger brother, Thomas, and one younger sister, Reilly.
Dad played varsity basketball at Vanguard University and uncle Mike Schwabe played baseball at Arizona State and for the Detroit Tigers.
Enjoys taking pictures, being by the ocean, hanging out with friends and watching movies.
Favorite foods are 49er pancakes and pasta.
Her greatest influence is her parents.
Premeet superstition is wearing her In-N-Out socks and having her hair in braids.
Gives back to the community by picking up trash on the beach.
