AZUSA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team ended the 2023 regular season on a high note with a school record and two NCAA Division II provisionals at the APU Last Chance on Friday and Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Nick Melanese broke the CSUSM school record in the 800-meter run with an NCAA provisional time of 1:48.59 while finishing third out of 86 on Friday.
- Trevor Boaz ran the second-fastest 1500-meter time in program history with an NCAA provisional time of 3:45.64 on Saturday night. His time was the fastest in the 139-man field.
- Justice Chima ran a wind-aided time of 10.75 in the 100-meter dash prelim on Friday and had a wind-aided 200-meter time of 21.66 on Saturday.

CSUSM will wait and see if anyone qualify for the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships taking place on May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colorado.
