SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's outdoor track & field team had a top-10 program time, advanced four more runners to the finals and scored some points on the second day of competition at the 2026 CCAA Track & Field Championships on Friday at Mangrum Track & Field.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- KeSean Goodson placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 13.35 meters, giving the Cougars two points for the event.
- Owen Hinz scored a point for CSUSM in the 3000-meter steeplechase with an eighth-place time of 9:39.64.
- Kevin Meumann ran the sixth-fastest 110-meter hurdles time in program history at 14.89 seconds. He had the second-fastest prelim time and advanced to Saturday's final.
- Jason Wells had the second-fastest time in the 200-meter prelim at 21.20 seconds and advanced to Saturday's final.
- Renton McGregor (1:53.52) and Noah Cavender (1:54.16) each qualified for Saturday's 800-meter final, finishing fourth and seventh in the prelim, respectively.
