COURSE REPORT:  Caroline Wales leads the field after day two of the CCAA Women's Golf Championships as the No. 10/8 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team extended its stroke lead to 12 with a 10-over 298 on Tuesday at Victoria Club in Riverside.  

FIRST TEE

• Wales had the lowest score of the round, finishing with an even-par 72 to have a two-round total of 2-over 146. Every time she recorded a bogey, she answered it with a birdie the next hole or two holes later to finish with three of each.
• Breann Horn moved up two spots to fourth place after carding a 1-over 73 and has a 5-over 149.
• Madison Murr is in a four-way tie for sixth place with a 9-over 153 (76-77).
• Makenna Cabardo jumped four spots and is tied for 11th place with three other golfers with an 11-over 155 (79-76).
• Kaila Higgins is tied for 14th place with a 13-over 157 (77-80).
