SAN FRANCISCO – Redshirt senior Dynnah Buckner of the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-West Region second team, the organization announced on Thursday.
 
Buckner helped lead CSUSM to its first-ever CCAA Tournament Championship and third appearance in the NCAA West Regional with a team-leading 12.2 points per game, 82.4 free throw percentage. The Rialto native was recently named to the All-CCAA first team for the second consecutive season.
 
Buckner is the third Cougar in program history to earn D2CCA All-West Region honors. Last season, Akayla Hackson was selected to the first team while Jordan Vasquez picked up second-team honors.
 
The No. 16/22 Cougars will face Central Washington on Friday, March 10 at noon in the Torodome on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, California.
