SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team had one new top-10 program mark to go along with many other top performances at Point Loma's Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday at PLNU Track & Field.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Jackson Cross tied for the ninth-best long jump mark in program history with a distance of 6.63 meters while finishing fourth out of 29. He later was the top Cougar in the 200-meter dash at 22.91.
• Jonh Saracay matched his season-best height of 1.91 meters in the high jump and finished seventh out of 17th.
• Isaac Muanza finished fifth out of 11 in the triple jump with a mark of 14.05 meters – the best in the CCAA this season.
• Juan Leyva took sixth out of 23 competitors in the hammer throw at 47.60 meters.
• Kalathan Laiwa-McKay finished ninth out of 27 in the shot put with a mark of 14.32 meters. He later had CSUSM's top mark in the discus at 42.72 meters.
• Kenyon Riley was the fastest Cougar in the 400-meter dash at 51.44.
• Adam Moe posted a time of 11.44 in the 100-meter dash.
• Braden Oberg had an 800-meter time of 1:59.14.
• Ased Adus tallied a 5,000-meter time of 15:45.48.
• Alex Anderson was the top Cougar in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 10:10.72.

CSUSM will compete in a trio of meets next week with the Aztec Invitational (March 23-25), the Mangrum Invitational (March 24) and PLNU Track & Field Invitational (March 25).
