COURSE REPORT:  The No. 10 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team won its second consecutive tournament, sharing the Nick Turner Invitational trophy with fellow CCAA member Cal State East Bay on Tuesday at Arroyo del Oso Golf Club in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

FIRST TEE

• Lauren Hickam's share for third place was her best collegiate finish to date. She tallied a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to finish with an even-par 144.  
• Madison Murr took fifth place with a 1-over 145 (74-71) after recording two birdies on the backend.
• With a 1-under 71, Diana Delgado moved up eight spots for a share of seventh place after finishing with a 3-over 147 (76-71).
• Makenna Cabardo tied for 28th with an 11-over 155 (77-78) while Regan Barton posted a 12-over 156 (74-82) to finish tied for 30th.

"Really good week for the girls. We didn't have our best stuff, but it was good enough to walk away with a tie for the win. Really proud of Lauren this week. She really stepped it up and contributed big time. Diana and Maddy had good comebacks today both shooting 1 under. Since we tied with Cal State East Bay the trophy will go to the team that plays the best during the Hawaii week. Should be fun."

• Hickam's opening round of 71 tied her lowest collegiate-career score.
• CSUSM led the field in Par 5 scoring (4.95, -2) while ranking second with 24 birdies.
