COURSE REPORT:  The No. 14/10 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team finished second, just one-stoke back from Arkansas Fort Smith, at Western New Mexico's RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Tuesday in Goodyear, Arizona. The Cougars had three in the top 13 with Breann Horn leading the way with a third-place finish.

FIRST TEE

• Horn put together a 2-under 34 on the front nine and was leading the field on the turn. A bogey on the 12th hole and a double bogey on the 18th hole had Horn finishing with a 1-over 73 and a 1-under 143 for the tournament.
• Carding a 2-under-70 on Tuesday, Caroline Wales jumped 28 spots to finish in a three-way tie for 10th place with a 3-over 147.
• Makenna Cabardo shot a 3-over 75 in the second round to finish with a 4-over 148 and tied for 13th place.
• Lauren Hickam took 30th place with an 8-over 152 (73-79) while Madison Murr tied for 42nd with a 13-over 157 (76-81)
• Playing as an individual, Diana Delgado tied for 20th after carding an even-par on the first 10 holes she played Tuesday to finish with a 6-over 150 (77-73)
