SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos Head Coach
Greg Hutton announced the 2022-23 men's golf schedule on Monday afternoon. The schedule includes nine regular-season tournaments, highlighted by the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational in February of 2023.

"I think we have a good schedule this season," said Hutton. "We have a good mix of tournaments we normally play and new events we will be playing for the first time. The guys are excited about the schedule, and they definitely have a score to settle with some of the spring events we will be playing again. I think they are going to be looking for some redemption."

All four fall tournaments will take place in the month of October that begins with a return to Chico State's Wildcat Classic (Oct. 10-11). Next up for the Cougars will be the Cal State Monterey Bay's Otter Invitational on Oct. 17-18, an event won by
Matt Pennington in 2021.

The Cougars will wrap up the fall season with a pair of tournaments in Hawai'i – HPU Sharks Shootout (Oct. 25-26) and Hawai'i-Hilo's Dennis Rose Intercollegiate (Oct. 28-29).

To kickoff the new year, the Cougars will host the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on Feb. 13-14 at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista.

The Cougars will have the opportunity to play a new course at Cal State San Bernardino's D2 Prestige, the PGA West Pete Dye Mountain Course in La Quinta.

CSUSM will be making its fourth appearance in Cal State East Bay's Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on March 13-14 before closing out the month at the Hanny Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State on March 27-28. The Cougars final tune-up before postseason play will be at the D2 West Region Preview hosted by Sonoma State.

CSUSM will host the 2023 CCAA Championships at Victoria Country Club in Riverside on April 17-19. NCAA West/South Central Regionals will take place May 11-13 at Foxtail Golf Course in Rohnert Park with the NCAA Championships May 22-26 at Avalon Lakes Country Club in Warren, Ohio.
