IRVINE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team competed at UC Irvine's Steve Scott Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Anteater Stadium.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Trevor Nakata took 11th in the hammer throw with a mark of 48.52 ­– the best Division II mark in the event.
• Brothers Alembe and Byaombe Mloko placed 34th and 36th in the 800-meter run with times of 1:59.27 and 1:59.75, respectively. This was their first collegiate 800-meter event.

CSUSM will now head to San Francisco State for the CCAA Championships beginning on Thursday.
