LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team had one top-10 program time at Long Beach State's Beach Invitational on Saturday.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Clarissa Garcia posted the second-fastest 800-meter time in program history at 2:10.78 and finished 10th out of 71 competitors. Her time was the best among Division II runners and was an NCAA Division II provisional time. She beat out her previous PR of 2:11.48 set in 2019. Ana Mercado finished 15th at 2:11.92.
• Mia Salinas recorded her second-fastest 400-meter dash time of the season at 59.24.
• Kayla James finished the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.02.
• Teigen O'Donnell came in with a time of 15.34 in the 100-meter hurdles.
