SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team saw three top-10 program marks at Point Loma's Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Kalathan Laiwa-McKay posted the second-best shot put mark in school history with a distance of 14.51 meters – .75 better than his previous-best mark.
- In the discus, Laiwa-McKay had the fourth-best throw in program history at 44.93 meters.
- In the 5,000-meter run, Joshua Litwiller ran the second-fastest time ever at Point Loma Track & Field with a time of 14:25.88 and placed second. He was also .23 away from obtaining an NCAA Division II provisional time. Trevor Boaz finished third with a time of 14.30.63 – the third-fastest time ever in the event at Point Loma and the fifth-fastest time in program history.
- Jonathan Burton placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.91 – .44 off the winning time.
- Justice Chima took second in the 200-meter dash with a wind-aided time of 21.64 and was only .05 off the winning time.
- Chima also took second in the high jump as he cleared a height of 2.00 meters – .01 off his personal best.

UP NEXT
CSUSM will compete in three different meets next week as they head to San Diego State's Aztec Invitational (March 24-26), UCLA's Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (March 25) and the Point Loma Collegiate Invitational (March 26).
