LA JOLLA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team established four top-10 program marks at UC San Diego's San Diego Collegiate Challenge on Friday at Triton Track & Field Stadium.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Joshua Litwiller won the 3,000-meter run with the fourth-fastest time in program history at 8:33.33. Teammate Ruben Piña finished second with the sixth-fastest time in school history at 8:35.70. Kibrom Elias took third in 8:39.16.
• Nick Melanese won the 800-meter run with the third-fastest time in program history at 1:51.80. Teammate Trevor Boaz placed second with the fourth-fastest time in team history at 1:52.03.
• In the 1500-meter run, Shea Vavra took second with a time of 3:56.89 while teammate Kibrom Elias placed third in 3:57.83.
• Isaac Muanza was first in the triple jump with a mark of 13.66 meters. Teammates Jalen Dorsey and Shaun Katje finished second and third with distances of 12.79 and 12.62 meters, respectively.
• In the 4x400-meter relay, the Cougars' 'A' team placed second with a time of 3:18.94.
