CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team saw a school record fall in addition to multiple top-10 performances at the 25th Annual Rossi Relays on Saturday at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• In the distance medley relay, the team of Trevor Boaz, Justice Chima, Nick Melanese and Shea Vavra won the event with a school-record time of 10:02.75.
• Isaac Muanza won the triple jump with a distance of 14.35 meters – the fourth-longest mark in school history.
• Muanza also tied for the sixth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.98 meters.
• In the shot put, Kalathan Laiwa-McKay posted the fifth-best mark in team history at 13.76 meters. Teammate Nick Tangonan had the sixth-best mark at 13.66 meters.
• Trevor Nakata finished fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 48.98 meters. Laiwa-McKay tallied the seventh-best hammer throw mark in program history at 43.87 meters and finished 10th. Will Prouty had the ninth-best mark in team history at 40.82 meters while Tangonan had the 10th best at 37.60 meters.
• Laiwa-McKay also had the program's sixth-best discus throw at 43.61 meters.
• In the pole vault, Chris Lee finished with the eighth-best height in school history at 4.30 meters and finished eighth.
