NORMAN, Okla. – Senior Ryan Bisharat of the Cal State San Marcos men's golf team has been named to the NCAA Division II PING All-West Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced. A total of 106 student-athletes across eight different regions earned all-region honors in 2020.
 
Bisharat is the fourth Cougar in program history to earn the honor at the NCAA Division II level, joining Braeden Koran, Dylan Healey and Dale Smith. Nine different Cougars took home a total of 16 NAIA All-West Region awards from 2007 through 2015.
 
The San Diego native led the team with a 74.17 scoring average in eight tournaments in 2019-20. Bisharat finished in the top 10 in in three tournaments in the shortened season with his best finish coming at the Sierra Central Wildcat Classic with a 6-over 224 to tie for third.
 
Earlier this week, Bisharat collected his second All-CCAA nod by earning first-team honors.
