Last Meeting: L, 10-16 (April 14, 2015). Plagued by fielding errors, the Cougars dropped their second game this season to the Eagles. CSUSM and Biola each tallied 14 hits in the contest with the deciding factor being a 6-1 error difference. Freshman
Austin Ott was CSUSM's big hitter on the day, going 3-for-5 with three doubles, four RBIs and two runs. Junior
Stefan Miladinovich also had a good day at the plate, going 3-for-6 with a run and a stolen base.

Who We AreCSUSM is an NAIA Division I institution which competes in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference. CSUSM was accepted into NCAA Division II Candidacy Year One and the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) during the summer and is currently going through a three-year transition phase in order to gain full NCAA DII status for the 2017-18 season. The 2014-15 season will be the school's final year in the NAIA.
