AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR IN 2016: Made 15 starts in 2016 … Tossed a team-high 74.2 innings for a 4.10 earned run average … Only 34 of the 56 runs scored were earned … Second lowest career earned run average (3.20) and fewest walks allowed in nine inning game (2.36) in CSUSM record books … Tallied a season-best five strikeouts on two occasions: at Cal Poly Pomona (April 2) and vs. Sonoma State (April 16) … Went 8.2 innings, giving up one earned run (four total runs) against then-No. 23 Chico State (April 2) … Collected the win at Biola (Feb. 9) after throwing 2.1 shutout innings and giving up only two hits.
