Concordia University Irvine Preview
All-time vs. CUI: 6-11
Last Series:  0-3 (March 20 & 22, 2014). The Cougars dropped a 4-1 decision at home before falling 5-0 twice at then-No. 9 Concordia last season. Dylan Costello and Brandon Bentson both went 4-for-10 in the series.
CUI Breakdown: The Eagles bounce back from a three-game series sweep by then No. 11 The Master's College with a pair of victories over University of Sioux Falls and a three-game series sweep at Arizona Christian.

Notes
The Cougars have outscored their opponents 100-22 in their last 10 games which also included four shutouts … Stefan Miladinovich has had 16 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games this season … Emilio Esquibel is now in an elite CSUSM club, joining five other Cougars who have reached the seven win mark in a season. James Dykstra reached this feat twice and surpassed it with a record nine wins in 2013.

CSUSM Record Books
The streaks of Ray Patchen and Denny Vigo came to an end recently, but do not fret as CSUSM has others still going strong. Patchen's hit streak halted at 20 games, ranking him No. 2 in the program's record books behind Kevin Silvett's (2010) 23-game streak.  Vigo reached base safely in 23 games that lands him at No. 6 in the record books. Trent Jemmett (2011) set the bar high at 43 games.

Current streaks:
Hitting – 9 games for Stefan Miladinovich and Austin Ott
Reach Base Safely – 13 games for Brandon Bentson
