SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's and women's golf teams are hosting the CSUSM Fall Classic on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 26 and 27, at Twin Oaks Golf Course.
The men's tournament will be a 54-hole competition and feature 11 teams. The schools will play two rounds on Monday and one final round on Tuesday.
The women's tournament will be an eight-team, 36-hole competition. The squads will play one round on Monday and Tuesday.
Spectators are free to walk the course and observe the players free-of-charge.
The Cougar men will look to upend two-time defending CSUSM Fall Classic champion Redlands. The Bulldogs have won the last two team titles since CSUSM went back-to-back in 2011 and 2012.
Point Loma looks to defend its team title on the women's side. CSUSM finished runner-up a year ago, but won the team crown in 2012 and 2013.
