Justine Chacon
Justine Chacon is a constant threat from the outside, as she can shoot 3-pointers with the best in the NAIA. Chacon averaged 12.8 points a game over the past month, scoring a season-high 25 points against University of La Verne after hitting a school-record 6 3-pointers. She is a threat on the defensive end as well, averaging 1.4 steals a game this season. Chacon is also CSUSM's best free throw shooter, hitting nearly 79% from the foul line.
Daniel Redmon
Point Guard Daniel Redmon has done a little of everything this year for the Cougars, even transitioning into a focal point of the offense this past month. In January, Redmon averaged 12.8 points, 4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds a game. Over the same stretch, he's shot 51.5% from the field and an impressive 50% on 3-pointers (10-of-20). However, opponents need to be equally aware of Redmon on defense, where he's averaged 3.9 steals/game over the last month.
