Cal State San Marcos Athletics is pleased to announce Rachel McConeghy as the department's Athletics Operations Coordinator. The applicant pool was extremely competitive for this position.

Rachel comes to CSUSM Athletics with 10 years of experience working in a college athletic department setting.  Rachel served as the Marketing Coordinator from 2007-2010 in the San Diego State University Athletic Department.  At SDSU, she assisted with all marketing efforts, community relations, and ticket sales.  Prior to SDSU, Rachel worked in the University of California, Santa Barbara Athletic Department from 2000-2007.  At UCSB, Rachel was the Assistant for Athletics Compliance and Student Services.

“We are very excited for Rachel to join our staff,” said Associate Director of Athletics Jennifer Milo. “She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in intercollegiate athletics. Rachel will step into an expanding department and make an immediate impact.“

Within the department, Rachel will assume the role of Ticket Coordinator, and will also be in charge of team travel duties for all 13 sports. She will assist the department in creating a ticket plan, marketing, and various other administrative support areas.
