The Cal State San Marcos Athletic Department is looking for nominees to enter the CSUSM Athletics Hall of Fame. This year's inductees will be recognized at the Student-Athlete Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner April 19
th.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to provide recognition for outstanding alumni who excelled in athletics while at Cal State San Marcos and later proved to be successful in their life's work. The Hall of Fame is also open to distinguished supporters of CSUSM Athletics in addition to the administrative and support staffs within Athletics who have significantly contributed to the total development of successful student-athletes.
Hall of Fame nominees must fit one of the criteria listed below:
1) CSUSM Athletes who have distinguished themselves during their intercollegiate career and earned a degree from Cal State San Marcos
2) CSUSM Athletes who distinguished themselves following their intercollegiate career.
3) CSUSM personnel and supporters who have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, or have been vital to the success of CSUSM athletics.
Eligibility will occur two years after an athlete has completed his or her career and requires a majority vote from the Hall of Fame Committee. Last year's inductees were supporters Bob and Ruth Mangrum, and former Athletic Director Debbie Dale.
