Box Score LAS VEGAS – Three Cougars finished in double figures, but the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell 77-60 to Carroll College Saturday afternoon at the Vegas Post Christmas Classic.
Mechel'la Logan finished with 18 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Jessica Harris went 5-of-9 for 13 points and
Cassie Damyanovich added 10.
CSUSM (8-13) shot just 31.7% in the first half as Carroll (8-4) put the Cougars in a 22-point hole at the break, 37-15.
However, CSUSM rebounded to outscore Carroll in the second half, 45-40. The Cougars doubled the Saints in the paint, 24-12, and scored their bench outscored CC, 22-5.
The Cougars have now dropped four straight games after winning five in a row from Dec. 7-10.
CSUSM starts the New Year with three games on consecutive days Jan. 2-4, 2013. The Cougars face The Master's College and Simpson (Calif.) at MiraCosta College on Jan. 2 and 3, respectively.
The following day, CSUSM travels to play Biola in La Mirada.
