Box Score MERCED, Calif. - The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team defeated UC Merced 77-45 on Sunday evening at Greg and Cathie Hostletler Court.

The Cougar win moved the team to 2-1 on the team's three-game roadtrip to start the season. CSUSM fell to Fresno Pacific on Sunday, 91-83, but rebounded with a handy 67-42 victory at William Jessup Saturday night.

The Cougars travel to play NCAA Division II opponent Cal State LA on Thursday before playing an exhibition on Saturday at University of San Diego, a NCAA Division I squad.

CSUSM's first home game is on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. against Arizona Christian.
