SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell to No. 7 Westmont 82-59 on Saturday night in Murchison Gymnasium.

The Warriors shot 52.8 percent from the floor and used a 21-5 run early in the first half to open the gap between themselvers and the Cougars.

CSUSM (3-5) was led by Sherika Miller and Sarah Jackson with 10 and nine points, respectively. Danielle Cooper registered game highs of 11 boards and four steals.

Westmont improves to 7-0 overall.

CSUSM will play its second straight top-10 team on Tuesday night at MiraCosta College in No. 4 Vanguard.
