The Cal State San Marcos Women's Basketball team exploded on offense Monday night, with 5 scorers reaching double-figures in an 82-61 victory. For the Cougars, it was their third consecutive win, and puts them at .500 for the season.

Justine Chacon led the way offensively, hitting a school-record 6 three-pointers, and tied a school record with 25 points. She wasn't the only Cougar finding the net though, as 5 different Cougars scored at least 10 points, and the team shot nearly 51% on the evening.

Cal State San Marcos showed their talents on the other side of the floor as well, forcing 22 turnovers, and holding the Leopards to only 29% from the field. Danielle Cooper took control of the paint, notching 10 rebounds for the fourth time this season.

CSUSM plays next on Saturday against La Sierra in Riverside. It will be their first A.I.I. Conference Game of the season.
